While Lesley Rogers came out in 2008 for a freshman season to remember as she played in 61 of ASU's 71 games on the year to find a starting spot in the line-up and the outfield, she only bettered those marks in 2009 and 2010, making her a marquee name in 2011's Sun Devil line-up. A nasty slapper with amazing patience at the plate, Lesley now holds a career .341 batting average as well as 141 runs scored and 76 RBIs to her name. After a phenomenal 2010 season which saw her raise her career batting average .022 with a .387 average, she was honored for her work being named to the All Pac-10 Second Team as well as to the Pac-10 All-Academic First Team and the ESPN All-District All-Academic Second Team. The awards only add to the 2009 season, where Lesley was also honored by the Pac-10, claiming All Pac-10 Second Team honors and Pac-10 All-Academic First Team honors, proving Rogers gets the job done on and off the field. Look for her patrolling center outfield in 2011 as she enters the season with one of the strongest arms on the team with seven assists assists from the outfield last season and five from the season previous.

Rogers also had a stellar 2008 freshman season as it saw her hitting .314 on the year as a slapper, while scoring 39 runs on the year and driving in 23 while even collecting a home run as well. For her work through the year, Rogers was given an Honorable Mention on the Pac-10 All Freshman Team and named to the Women's College World Series All-Tournament Team.

A product out of Long Beach Calif., Rogers was a four-time letterwinner for the Bulldogs of Ayala High School in Chino Hills. While at Ayala, she captained the team in 2006 and 2007 where she accumulated more than a few accolades to her name. Lesley was a three-time high school All-League athlete ('04, '05 & '07) as well as being named All-CIF in '04 and '07. In addition she was named All Inland-Valley for three of her four seasons while helping to lead her 16U team, the OC Batbusters, to a national championship in 2005 and the Corona Angles to a fifth place finish in 2007.

Rogers is a sociology major who was born on May 22, 1989 in Long Beach, Calif. to her parents Mike (claims insurance manager) and Becky (speech pathologist) Rogers. She is the youngest of three with two older brothers, Kevin (26) and Keith (25). Her full name is Lesley Michelle Rogers.
