Kayla Lissy Season 2023

Senior (2024):

• One of three players to start every game for the Sun Devils and started at third base all season. Accounting for 42 hits, 27 runs and 20 RBIs. Hit three home runs during the year and had 14 stolen bases.
  • Ultmately batting .290 on the year with .469 slugging percentage.
• Smacked a home run against California that contributed to a win, going 2-for-2 with two RBIs in the win (4/27)
• Had a 13-game hitting streak (2/22–3/10) during the season having 19 hits, seven RBIs, four doubles and one home run during the stretch. 
• Went 1-for-3 against UTEP (2/21) with a triple that accounted for three RBIs. Also had two stolen bases.
• Recorded a double vs Northwestern (2/9)
• Walked twice and added a run against St. Thomas (2/9)
• Doubled vs. Boise State (2/10)
• Singled and walked twice while picking up a RBI vs Maine (2/10)

Junior (2023):

• Coming off an injury in the 2022 season, she became a prominent starter at shortstop, appearing in 35 games and starting in 34.
• One of three Sun Devils to have a hit in every conference series.
• Hit her first career home run as a Sun Devil against Utah (4/7)
• Recorded her first multi-hit game of the season with two singles against UCLA (4/22).
• Knocked her 100th career hit against Stanford on (4/28).

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated as a team captain at Durant High School … named First Team All-Conference as a junior after batting .412 with 17 stolen bases on the year … earned Second Team Western All-Conference as a sophomore and was voted the team’s MVP.
