Giselle "G" Juarez Season 2017

Overview: Giselle is an extra arm looking to add depth in the circle for the Sun Devils.

HIGHSCHOOL

• Juarez finished her career with a 1.78 ERA and out of 244.1 innings pitched she had 371 strikeouts and a .168 opponent batting average.
   
• She had back-to-back state championship appearances in '14 and '15. In 2014 she led Mountain Ridge to it's first ever state championship apperance.
   
• Giselle maintained a 3.50 GPA and took honors, dual enrollment and AP courses.
   
• Was ranked as the No. 45 player in the FLO Softball 'Hot 100' recruits of the 2016 class.
   
• Juarez helped lead the Birmingham Thunderbolts Premier 18U, Shea, travel team to consecutive 3rd-place finishes in 2015 & 2016 at the Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) National Championships.

Personal: Giselle is the daughter of William and ASU alumna, Dulcinea Juarez and has two siblings; Cesar and Zinnia. She comes to ASU to study biomedical engineering and pre-med. An interesting fact about Giselle is that when she was a baby she could hum music before she could speak words.
