Sophomore (2017):

• Tied for lead in 2017 with 13 home runs (second consecutive season to lead the Sun Devils in home runs after doing so in 2016)
   
• Her .667 slugging percentage in 2017 is the highest amongst all returning Sun Devils
   
• Had a season-high 5 RBI game against Cal on May 6, going two-for-three at the plate.
   
• Recorded 44 RBI in 2017, the most of any players returning in 2018 
   
• Showed patience at the plate, drawing a team-leading 30 walks in 2017
   
• Only Sun Devil to appear in 40 or more games, and not record an error
   

Freshman (2016):

• Led Sun Devils with a .368 average, including six home runs and 21 RBIs.
   
• Ninth in the Pac-12 at a .395 clip with a .495 on-base percentage that was good for fifth in the league
   
• Only Sun Devil to maintain over a .350.
   
• Went 4-for-8 with two homers a double in the Cal series, finishing with a .600 on-base percentage.
   
• Went 6-for-12 at the Judi Garman Classic with a home run and had a career game against Northwestern (3/3), going 3-for-3 with that home run.

HIGH SCHOOL

• Played her senior season for Hawthorne High School after spending her first three seasons as a first baseman and catcher for Mira Costa High School.
   
• Leilua – who also goes by Fa - earned Second Team All-League honors as a sophomore and junior and First Team honors as a freshman while being named her team MVP in all three seasons at Mira Costa. In the last two seasons, she compiled a .468 batting average and a .509 on-base percentage with 48 RBI, 46 runs scored and eight home runs. 
   
• As a junior, Leilua batted .494 in 28 games with 25 RBI, 12 doubles, three triples and two homers with a solid .996 fielding percentage.
   
• Leilua played club ball for USA Athletics under Mike and Rose Rogers and chose ASU after immediately falling in love with the campus and meeting with fellow members of her signing class on her official visit. 

Personal

Leilua is the daughter of Sio and Paiao Leilua and has three siblings, Lipo, Sio and Nila. On her free time, Fa enjoys playing the piano and the ukulele. She is currently studying business sports and following the completion of her time at ASU, Leilua hopes to become a college coach.
