High School:
- A 2009 graduate of Horizon High School in Scottsdale, Ariz.
- Earned several awards during her high school career, including The Arizona Republic's Player of the Year award for the Phoenix metro area and the Pima Region Player of the Year.
- Was also named first-team all-state and first-team all-region and earned her team's Blue Collar and Defensive MVP awards.
- Also excelled in the classroom as she was a member of the Spanish honorary society and society of woman scholars in addition to being on the honor roll all four years.
- Played club soccer for SC del Sol and served as the team captain four years.
