SENIOR (2024-25)
- At the NCAA Championships, he competed in the 800 free relay and also helped the Sun Devils finish second in both the 200 free relay (1:13.05) and the 400 free relay (2:43.22).
- Five-time All-American - 100 Freestyle (2nd Team), 200 Freestyle (2nd Team), 200 Freestyle Relay, 400 Freestyle Relay, 800 Freestyle Relay (2nd Team)
- At the Big 12 Championships (2/25-3/1) he was part of the winning 800 and 400 free relay team. He won the 200 free (1:31.57) setting a personal best, and placed second in the 100 free. Also was fourth in the 50 free (19.21).
- Competing against Arizona, he won the 200 free (1:32.92), placed second in the 100 free (42.39), and competed in the 50 free. He also helped the Sun Devils win the 200 free relay (1:14.38).
- In the Eddie Reese Texas Showdown, he finished second in the 200 free (1:31.85) and fourth in the 100 free (42.10). Also helped the Sun Devils in winning the 400 free relay and finishing third in the 400 medley relay.
- In a meet against No. 24 Minnesota (1/10) he was second in the 200 free (1:33.70), fourth in the 50 free (19.72) and in the 100 free (43.96).
- Competing against Grand Canyon (1/4) he competed in the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay.
- Competing in the NC State Invite (11/21-23) he had top-5 finishes in the 50 free, 100 free and the 200 free. Also helped the Sun Devils win the 200 free relay.
- In the tri-meet against No. 1 California and No. 9 Stanford (11/7-8), Sammon played a key role in securing first-place finishes in all three of the races he competed in. Those wins came in the 400 free relay (2:46.68), the 800 free relay (6:13.18) and the 200 free relay (1:14.35). He placed second in the 200 free (1:33.30) and took third in the 100 free (42.00).
- Won the 200 free (1:32.63), was part of the winning 400 free relay, swimming a 41.29 100 free leg. He also appeared in the 400 medley relay. He also won the 100 free (41.80) and was part of the winning 200 free relay against No. 5 NC State (10/25-26)
- In the quad-meet against Arizona, NAU and GCU (10/12) he won the 150 free in 1:07.24, the 300 free in 2:30.12 and was part of the winning 200 free relay team, swimming a 19.54 opening leg.
- In the season opener against UNLV (10/4), he won the 200y free in 1:33.70, won the 100y free in 42.31 and was part of the winning 400 freestyle relay team.
JUNIOR (2023-24)
- Named to the 2024 Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll
- Won the 400 free relay at the NCAA Championships (3/27-3/30) as the Sun Devil men won the program's first NCAA title. Also placed second in the 800 free relay and 14th in the 200 free as well as competing in the 100 free and the 50 free.
- Won the 800 free relay and the 200 free at the Pac-12 Championships (3/6-3/9) helping the Sun Devil men repeat as conference champions. Also placed third in the 100 free and eighth in the 50 free
- Had a second-place finish in the 400 free relay and fifth-place finishes in the 200 free and 100 free at No. 23 Arizona (2/10)
- Finished fourth in the 200 free at No. 3 California (1/20), while also competing in the 100 free and 200 free relay
- Placed second in the 200 free, 100 free and 400 free relay at No. 9 Stanford (1/19)
- Won the 400 free relay and was second in the 200 medley relay against GCU (1/6), while also tying for third in the 50 free and placing third in the 100 free
- Won the 200 free, 100 free and 400 free relay at Utah (11/20), while also swimming the 50 free
- Finished in the top-10 in seven events at the midseason NC State Invite (11/16-11/18): 800 free relay (1st), 400 free relay (1st), 400 medley relay (2nd), 200 free (3rd), 100 free (4th), 200 free relay (5th) and 50 free (10th)
- Won the 400 free relay vs. No. 16 USC (11/4), while finishing second in both the 200 free and the 200 medley relay
- Won the 100m free in an exhibition meet with No. 4 NC State (10/21), while also taking second in the 200m free
- Won the 400 free relay, was second in the 100 and 200 free and placed third in the 200 medley relay against No. 4 NC State (10/20)
- Took second in the 100 free and was third in the 100 fly and the 200 free relay vs. UNLV (10/6)
- Won 200 free and 400 free relay, was second in 200 medley relay and also competed in 500 free against Georgia
- Won all three events he competed in during season opener vs. Georgia (9/22): 400m medley relay, 150m free and 400m free relay
SOPHOMORE (2022-23)
- Helped the Sun Devils take second at the NCAA Championships (3/22-3/25) for the first time in program history by taking second in the 800 free relay and seventh in the 200 free. Also raced in the 50 free and 100 free.
- Won the 800 free relay at the Pac-12 Championships (3/1-3/4), helping the Sun Devil Men win their first conference title in program history. Was also second in both the 400 free relay and 200 free, fifth in the 100 free and eighth in the 50 free.
- Won the 100 free and was third in the 200 free in the regular season finale win against Arizona (2/4)
- Third in the 200 free in the victory against No. 2 Cal (1/21), while also racing in the 100 free
- Took third in the 200 free in the win against No. 12 Stanford (1/20), while also racing in the 500 free
- Won both the 400 free relay and 800 free relay in addition to placing second in the 400 medley relay, third in the 100 free, third in the 200 free and 12th in the 50 free at the midseason NC State Invite (11/17-11/19)
- Won the 200 free and 400 free relay while placing third in the 100 free in the Pac-12 opener against USC (11/4)
- Won the 400 medley relay and placed second in the 100 free in the team's home opener against Wisconsin (10/22)
- In the team's tri-meet against Georgia and Missouri (10/1), he won the 400 free relay and placed third in the 100 free and fifth in the 200 free
- Began his sophomore campaign in the season opener at Georgia (9/30), in which he took second in the 3x400 free relay, 400 fly/free relay and the 200 free relay
FRESHMAN (2021-22)
- Named a CSCAA First-Team Scholar All-American
- One of two true freshman for the Sun Devils to compete at the NCAA Championships, in which he placed 5th in the 800 free relay (3/23-3/26)
- Competed in his first Pac-12 Championships, in which he placed 7th in the 200 free and 14th in the 100 free (3/2-3/5)
- Finished second in the 200 free and 400 free relay and third in the 100 free against Arizona (2/5)
- Raced in the 100 fly, 200 free and 200 free relay against Cal (1/22)
- Competed in the 100 & 200 free plus the 400 free relay against Stanford (1/21)
- Competed in the 200, 400 and 800 free relay and the 50, 100 and 200 free at the NC State Invite
- Made his collegiate debut on 11/6 against USC, in which he competed in the 400 free relay
- On the USA National Junior Team
- Went to the 2021 Summer Olympic Swimming trials
