Evan DeBrouwer Season 2020-21

Junior (2020-21): 

• Split time with freshman Cole Brady, making 11 starts with a 3-9-1 record, 4.13 goals against average and .888 save percentage
• Recorded 30+ saves in seven of his 11 starts and 40+ saves in back-to-back starts against Penn State
• Recorded upset wins over No. 14/15 Wisconsin and No. 13/16 Notre Dame early in the season

Sophomore (2019-20):

• Started all but four games for the Sun Devils in 2019-20, finishing 19-11-3 with a 2.52 goals against average and .919 save percentage -- all ranking second all-time by a goaltender in a single season behind Joey Daccord
• Finished with four shutouts on the season, and upsets of No. 4 Denver, No. 8 Clarkson and a sweep of No. 9 Quinnipiac
• Recorded his first collegiate win and shutout with a 3-0 performance over Air Force on the road on Oct. 18

Freshman (2018-19):

• Played his first collegiate minutes against Cornell on Jan. 12

Junior Hockey:

• One of the BCHL's top goaltenders in 2017-18, boasting a 26-14-0-4 record, three shutouts, 2.24 goals against average and .920 save percentage during the regular season for the Prince George Spruce Kings
• Went 13-11-0-0 in the 2018 BCHL Playoffs with a .924 save percentage and second-best GAA (2.12)
• Named team MVP for Prince George in 2017-18
• Finalist for BCHL Top Goaltender Award

Personal: Son of Allen and Mya DeBrouwer ... youngest of three children -- two older sisters (Charlotte & Raina) ... grew up on a farm before moving away from home for hockey when he was 15 ... lists winning his high school championship for the first time in school's history as his most exciting moment in sports ... enjoys golfing, playing soccer, watching Netflix and doing homework in his free time.
