--Father, Steve, caddied for Ryan in the 2016 Eastern Amateur, and was a runner-up in the same event in 1988 and also played at Old Dominion.--Attended Heritage High School in North Carolina and won the MAPGA Spring Fling in 2012 and also qualified for Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) Amateur Championships as well as the Suntrust State Open of Virginia.
--Competed in the Virginias-Carolinas Junior Team Match Championships in 2012.
