SUN DEVIL DATA
Chanse arrived in June of 2010 and spent both sessions of summer school on campus. He is from Marshalltown, Iowa (population of about 26,000). A darn good football player (quarterback) in high school who teamed with Sun Devil Trent Lockett in AAU ball in the summers of 2008 and 2009. In his senior year led football team to state title as his numbers were among the best in state single season history for yardage (second), completions (third) touchdown passes (fourth).

SAYS MARSHALLTOWN HEAD COACH RON GINAPP
"With all the kids that we've had and we've had some very good players, I think he's the best basketball player that has gone through. I've coached a lot of good ones and I don't want to take anything away from anybody else, but Chanse is a special kid."
