ROBINSON EAGER TO BEGIN SUN DEVIL CAREER...

--Won state championship in his senior year (2011-12) at Corona del Sol in Tempe, Ariz.

--Coached in high school by Sam Duane.

--Led the Aztecs to a 32-1 record and the Division I state championship in 2012-13 as Corona del Sol finished the year on a 30-game winning streak.

--Averaged 18.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.4 steals in senior year.

--Named the East Valley Tribune’s Player of the Year in 2011-12.

--“He was our leader,” Corona del Sol coach Sammy Duane said. “As he went, we went.”

--Aztecs dropped their third game of the season to Mesquite and didn’t lose again.
