Jakob Stridsberg Season 2017-18

Senior (2018-19):

• Tallied an assist against RIT (2/1)
• Started off the season with two assists against Alaska on Oct. 7

Junior (2017-18):

• Led the team in scoring with five goals and two assists through the first 10 games of the season
• In first four Sun Devil wins, Stridsberg netted at least one goal 
• Played in all but two games throughout the season
• Assisted two goals in the championship win at the Ice Vegas Invitational 
• Finished the season with five goals and four assists for nine total points

Sophomore (2016-17):

• Led all defensemen in scoring with nine goals and seven assists in 32 games
• One of just six players who played in all 32 regular season games
• Totaled three multi-point games during his rookie NCAA season
• Rode two three-game point streaks down the stretch of the season, one lasting from Dec. 17 to Dec. 31 (2g, 2a) and another from Jan. 14 to Jan. 21 (2g, 2a)
• Recorded his first multi-goal game against Brown on Dec. 30
• Netted the first goal and point of his college career in the first period against No. 9 Notre Dame on Oct. 8
• Technically a freshman in school years, as he lost a year due to NCAA rules

Junior Hockey:

• Was a part of the NAHL Robertson Cup Championship team with Fairbanks in 2015-16
• Led the NAHL in goals scored by a defenseman (12) in 2015-16
• Earned All-Midwest Division honors in 2015-16
• Won 2 Junior Championships with J20 in Sweden
  • Won the J20 SM Gold Medal in 2012-13 & 2013-14

Personal: Son of Peter and Anette Stridsberg ... has one older sister (Julia) ... lists winning two junior championships, the Robertson Cup in 2016 and committing to ASU as his most exciting moments in sports ... enjoys playing golf, watching soccer and listening to music in his free time.
