JUNIORS:
- Competed in 54 games in 2024-25 for the Des Moines Buccaneers. Tallied 30 points from the blue line (4G, 26A)
- In 2023-24, he played for the BCHL's Victoria Grizzlies, including 44 games with 26 points (5G, 21A). The Grizzlies reached postseason play and Baran competed in 11 playoff games, tallying eight points from two goals and six assists.
INTERNATIONAL:
- Competed for Slovakia U20 in the World Junior Championship in Summer 2025
- Played in International-Jr in Summer 2025, 2024, and 2023
- Played in 20 international games for Team Slovakia since 2023
