PRO CAREER
The San Jose Sharks signed Noah Beck to a one-year, entry-level contract starting in the 2025-26 season.
GRADUATE YEAR (2024-25, at Arizona State):
- Earned Second-Team All-NCHC
- His 27 assists on the season ranked fifth in the NCHC overall
- His 33 points is third in program records for points by a defenseman in a single season
- Beck played in all 37 possible games for the Sun Devils and led the team's defensemen in point scoring with five goals and 28 assists for 33 total points
- In his first game as a Sun Devil on Oct. 4, 2024, Beck tallied three points (3A) against Air Force to tie his career single game high for points
- Notched a five point weekend against the Falcons with five total assists and a +5 plus/minus. For his performance, he was awarded the NCHC Defenseman of the Week
- Beck carried his point scoring power into the team's home opener vs. Michigan (Oct. 11-12) to reach eight points in four games from one goal and seven assists.
- He went on another point-scoring streak from Dec. 7-Jan. 11 with seven points in five games including against teams North Dakota, Minnesota Duluth, and Cornell
- During the final stretch of the season, Beck once again consistently created offense at the blue line with seven points in the last five games of the season including a goal in ASU's 6-5 victory over Minnesota Duluth to advance to the Frozen Faceoff
- He set a new career record for power play goals in a single season with four. Beck came up big on the power play in games the Sun Devils needed offensive power the most, including against opponents Michigan, Denver, Colorado College, and St. Cloud State.
- His +12 plus/minus was second-most on the team and he scored nine multipoint games
- Nominated for the Hobey Baker Award
SENIOR YEAR (2023-24, at Clarkson):
- Played in 30 games and tallied three goals and six assists for nine total points
- Tallied one power play goal
- Blocked 20 shots
JUNIOR YEAR (2022-23, at Clarkson):
- Beck played in all 37 games for the Golden Knights and was the team's top point producer from the point with six goals and 17 assists
- Opened the season with two goals against UNH on Oct. 7
- Scored against Mercyhurst (10/21), Lake Superior (10/28), Quinnipiac (12/3), and in the ECAC playoff win against Brown
- Was named the ECAC Defenseman of the Month for November
- Named ECAC Defenseman of the Week for Oct. 11
- Named ECAC All Academic.
SOPHOMORE YEAR (2021-22, at Clarkson):
- Played in all 37 games scoring five goals and added 17 assists for 22 points
- Highlight was two goals in a big comeback shootout win at St. Lawrence on Jan. 28
- Had four games with two assists (Harvard twice, Princeton, & Dartmouth)
- Developed to become a key part of the power play
- Was a +8 this season
- Honored with the Richmond Award in 2022, The Richmond Award is named in honor of loyal Clarkson Hockey followers Connie and Ernie Richmond & presented to a player who has shown great improvement in his playing ability
- Named to ECAC All Academic Team.
FRESHMAN YEAR (2020-21, at Clarkson):
- Played in 20 games at the point, collecting a goal and an assist
- Had eight minutes in penalties.
- Scored against RIT in a 5-8 loss, assisted on the lone goal in a 1-4 loss at Niagara.
NHL DRAFT: Selected in the 7th round (194th pick) of the 2020 NHL Draft by the St. Louis Blues
JUNIOR HOCKEY: The top offensive defenseman for the Fargo Force in the 2019-20 season, recording 27 points on four goals and 23 assists in 42 USHL games … Named Fargo's Rookie of the Year in 2019-20 ... Voted the Ontario Hockey Association's top prospect in the 2018-19 season.
