- Recorded 28 catches for 652 yards as a senior with six touchdowns, also carrying the ball 20 times for 146 yards and three touchdowns and added 14 tackles on defense… Also added 308 kickoff return yards, averaging 34.2 yards per return and two touchdowns
- Had 32 catches for 595 yards and six touchdowns as a junior, including a seven-catch, 174-yard effort in a 52-41 loss to Cinco Ranch…On defense that season, he recorded 21 tackles with five pass breakups and three interceptions en route to earning second team All-District honors on both sides of the ball
- Also a track standout at Jordan High, Sample has clocked a personal best of 11.15 seconds in the 100 meters
