Matt Seiler was named senior player personnel assistant in July 2019.
Seiler was promoted to his current position after serving as a football recruiting graduate assistant in the Sun Devil football office for two years. In his previous role Seiler oversaw all defensive evaluation and worked on a daily basis with the coaching staff to ensure the identification of top prospects in the country. Seiler arranged and coordinated logistical planning for official recruiting visits and developed recruiting trips for coaching staff based on player evaluation.
Seiler initially started working with Sun Devil Football as an operations and recruiting student manager. Seiler’s other experiences in athletics include a spring training internship with the Cincinnati Reds and a digital broadcast/game presentation internship with the Green Bay Packers.
Seiler earned his undergraduate degree in Business Sports & Media Studies from ASU’s W.P. Carey School of Business in 2017 and his Masters of Sports Law & Business from ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law in 2019.
