Ryne Rezac enters his third season as the On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator for Sun Devil Football.
Rezac joined ASU from the University of Nevada where he served as the director of player personnel and recruiting under former Sun Devil Football assistant Jay Norvell beginning in January 2017. In his role, Rezac maintained Nevada’s recruiting and operations budgets and coordinated all records and information for incoming recruits and current personnel.
Prior to arriving in Reno, Rezac was a part of the Sun Devil Football staff from 2014-16 in three different roles. He first served as a volunteer for recruiting, operations, defense and offense from 2014-15, assisting with charting games, day-to-day operations, film review, postgame analysis charts and breakdown of opponents’ film.
Rezac became a management intern for recruiting and operations in 2016, assisting with social media, organizing summer camps and other aspects of recruiting.
From there, Rezac was promoted to his incoming role of On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator, which he held from 2016-17. He was in charge of planning all recruiting visits, social media, scouting video and reports for Sun Devil Football.
Rezac graduated from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, with a double major in Sports Business and Management in 2014. As a football student-athlete at NCC, Rezac was a part of the winningest class in program history, earning a 44-7 record.
He is currently working toward a master’s degree in Educational Leadership: High Education. While at North Central College, Rezac served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and helped to create the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at NCC.
Rezac lives in Gilbert, Ariz. with his wife, Lucia, and her daughter Maile.
