OVERVIEW:
- Low center of gravity allows him to gain leverage on his opponents and not particularly big in stature, but he makes up for it with his competitive edge and willingness to finish blocks.
- Has good feet and the ability to get to the edge to lead block and can play multiple positions along the offensive line. Similar in style to former Sun Devil center Nick Kelly.
- Appeared in all 13 games for the Devils during his senior season
- One of 10 Sun Devils to earn Pac 12 All-Academic honors with his honorable mention
JUNIOR (2016):
- Appeared in nine games on the offensive line for the Sun Devils, starting seven games at center
JUNIOR COLLEGE (City College of San Francisco):
- Comes to ASU with three years to play two. Enrolled at ASU in January and will participate in spring practice
- Voted First Team All-CCCAA by the coaches and received the most votes for an offensive lineman after leading the team to a 12-1 record and a state championship. Teammate of fellow 2016 signee Michael Sleep-Dalton at CCSF.
- Member of the eight-man class that is rated as the No. 1 JUCO class in the country. Received PrepStar All-West Region honors.
- Rated as the No. 1 JUCO Center in the country and No. 99 overall JUCO prospect by 24/7; ranked by Scout as the No. 1 JUCO Center prospect in the nation and No. 96 overall prospectr; regarded as the No. 1 JUCO Center prospect by ESPN; listed as the No. 92 overall JUCO prospect nationwide by Rivals.
- Originally committed to Cal, but later re-opened his recruitment. Chose ASU over Cal. Verbally committed to ASU on December 14, 2015. Coached by Jimmy Collins at City College of San Francisco. Coached by William Volk at Aloha High School.
