OVERVIEW:
- Athletic prospect who played quarterback in high school, but switched sides of the ball his first year in JUCO
- Has impressive natural instincts when playing the ball despite just playing just one year at the position
- Adds tremendous size and good speed to the position and comes to ASU with four years to play three
- Appeared in six games and had five tackles and was a valued addition on special teams
- Recorded two tackles at both Oregon (10/29) and Washington (11/19)
- Excels both on and off the field, graduating from Junior College in just one year
- Becomes the ninth JUCO signee of the class, adding to the original eight-man class that was rated the No. 1 JUCO class in the country
- Finished his only JUCO season with 83 tackles, three interceptions including one returned for a touchdown, two tackles for loss, and four pass breakups in just ten games played
- Received recognition from Scout as one of the top JUCO defensive back performances for the Week of Sept. 25 after recording 20 tackles
- Led Tyler JC to a 7-3 season, finishing 16th nationally in the final NJCAA rankings
- Chose ASU over reported offers from Hawaii, Houston and South Alabama. Coached by Danny Palmer at Tyler Junior College
- Played at the same high school (Trinity) as current Sun Devil linebacker Laiu Moeakiola
