OVERVIEW:
- Physically gifted defensive lineman with a non-stop motor and surprising speed and athleticism for his size, allowing him to play anywhere across the defensive line
- Large frame and long arms allow him to get off blocks and bat down passes at the line of scrimmage
- Served in the Air Force out of high school before moving on to play at the junior college level
- Added depth along the ASU defensive front, finishing with two tackles on the season
- Had his biggest impact on offensive, however, serving as the lead blocker in the Sun Devil “Sparky” formation that allowed Kalen Ballage to collect 14 rushing touchdowns on the season
- Missed a good portion of his sophomore season at Glendale CC due to a knee injury. Enrolled at ASU in January and will participate in spring practice. Comes to ASU with three years to play two
- Member of the class that is rated as the No. 1 JUCO class in the country and received JUCO All-American honors from PrepStar
- Rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals and the No. 27 overall JUCO prospect in the country; listed as a four-star prospect and the No. 11 overall JUCO prospect in the country by ESPN; ranked as the No. 2 JUCO defensive end prospect and No. 27 overall JUCO prospect in the nation by 24/7; tabbed by Scout as the No. 38 overall JUCO prospect in the country
- Played in only six games as a sophomore due to injury, making 12 tackles and one sack. Recorded 18 tackles and eight sacks in 10 games in his freshmen season at GCC
- Chose ASU over Oregon as well as reported offers from Purdue, Oregon State, San Diego State, and Washington State. Coached by Michael Bell at Glendale Community College
