Ray Brown

Ray Brown enters his second season on the Sun Devils coaching staff as a defensive graduate assistant. Before his time with the Sun Devils, Brown was a defensive graduate assistant at Washington State during the 2013 season where he helped mentor First Team All-American and NFL.com top-rated safety Deone Bucannon, currently a member of the Arizona Cardinals. He spent two seasons at Oklahoma Baptist University in Oklahoma City as the special teams coordinator and running backs coach. Prior to Oklahoma Baptist, Brown held the same positions at East Central University (Okla.), his alma mater, where he helped the Tigers claim the Lone Star Conference North championship in 2010. The Oklahoma City, Okla. native was a four-year starter at defensive back for the Tigers, graduating with a degree in business marketing in 2009 and later earning his master's degree in sports administration in 2011.
