ASU: Three-year member of the Sun Devil football team...three-year letterman...made 228 career tackles, including 22.5 for loss (77 yards)...had seven career sacks (50 yards)...broke up 12 passes in his career, forced four fumbles and recovered three...made his first career interception against USC on Sept. 24 and returned it 36 yards...played in 37 career games, making 32 starts...made a career-high 11 tackles vs. NAU on Sept. 11, 2010, and at Georgia on Sept. 26, 2009...collected a career-best three sacks against UC Davis on Sept. 1, 2011...had one of the most productive freshman seasons in school history and was named Pac-10 Defensive Freshman of the Year...selected to the Freshman All-American Team by CollegeFootballNews.com and to the Football Writers Association of America Freshman All-America Team...named a Freshman All-American by Scout.com and earned a spot on the Sporting News All-Pac-10 Freshman Team...earned the starting middle linebacker spot in the fourth game of his freshman season.

2010: Followed up Freshman year with an equally impressive Sophmore season..selected as The Sporting News Pac-10s Defensive MVP...named to Phil Steele's Midseason All-Pac-10 team...Second-Team All-Pac-10 on defense by Scout.com...appeared in every game, starting all but one...led strong ASU defense with 90 tackles, including 54 solos...added 8.5 tackles for loss for minus 18 yards...lead team in tackles for four straight games starting Sept. 11 vs Northern Arizona...one third of tackles were vs top 15 opponents...finshed with 10 or more tackles five times throughout season...tied team with most forced fumbles (two) and third most pass break-ups (three)...tied a career high 11 tackles (six solo) vs NAU...five tackles on Halloween eve shutout victory of Washington State...key component in 30-29 Territorial Cup victory with three of his seven tackles coming in overtime period...earned his first Hard Hat player recognition for his work in ASU's offseason strength and conditioning program.

2009: Finished his freshman season second on the team in total tackles with 69 (40 solo)...added seven tackles for loss, two sacks and two forced fumbles...led the team with two fumble recoveries and was tops among all linebackers with five pass breakups...appeared in all 12 games of the season and started the final nine...had his first career start Oct. 3 against Oregon State...led the team in tackles in five games...had five tackles (two solo), a sack, a fumble recovery, and one and a half tackles for loss in his first collegiate game vs. Idaho State Sept. 5...collected a season-high 11 tackles (three solo) and one and half tackles for loss at Georgia Sept. 26...led the team with eight tackles (six solo), one tackle for loss and a forced fumble Nov. 14 against Oregon...recorded seven tackles (five solo) and fumble recovery vs. California Oct. 31.
