ASU Linebackers Are Like Brothers - Arizona Republic

ASU: Four-year member of the Sun Devil football team...four-year letterman...made 126 career tackles, including 7.5 for loss (19 yards), and two interceptions...also had two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery...made one career sack (four yards)...saw action in 43 career games, making 12 starts...a versatile player that excelled in pass coverage and run pursuit...one of a school-record 10 true freshmen to see game action in 2008.

2009: Appeared in 11 games, finishing with 17 tackles (11 solo) and a pass break-up...made four tackles (three solo) vs. Louisiana Monroe Sept. 19...collected three tackles Nov. 14 against Oregon and then again Oct. 17 vs. Washington...broke up a pass Nov. 21 vs. UCLA.

2008: Played in all 12 games as a reserve linebacker and on special teams as a true freshman...one of three true freshmen to play in every game, along with defensive tackle Lawrence Guy and long snapper Thomas Ohmart...totaled 36 tackles (23 solo), 1.5 tackles for loss and two pass break-ups on the season...recorded multiple tackles in 11 of the team's 12 games...had three tackles (two solo) in his first career college game, a season-opening win over NAU on Aug. 30...posted four solo tackles and a pass break-up in victory over Stanford on Sept. 6...recorded four tackles (three solo) against No. 3 Georgia on Sept. 20...had two tackles at California on Oct. 4...collected three tackles (two solo) at No. 8 USC on Oct. 11...had two tackles against Oregon on Oct. 25...totaled a season-high six tackles (two solo) at Oregon State on Nov. 1...had two tackles and a pass break-up in win at Washington on Nov. 8...recorded five tackles (four solo) and a tackle for loss in shutout victory against Washington State on Nov. 15...posted three tackles (two solo) in win over UCLA on Nov. 28...finished the season with two solo tackles at Arizona on Dec. 6.
