ASU: Three-year member of the Sun Devil football team...two-year letterman...made 96 career receptions for 1,241 yards and eight touchdowns, playing his first two seasons at Oregon...finished his ASU career with 73 catches for 994 yards and seven touchdowns...set career highs in games started, receptions, yards and touchdowns in 2011...one of two ASU receivers to record a catch in all 13 games of the 2011 season....appeared in 24 games at ASU, making 16 starts...played in a combined 47 career games at Oregon and ASU...transferred from Oregon in 2009...played in 23 games in his first two seasons for the Ducks...totaled 23 receptions for 247 yards and one touchdown in his two years at Oregon...father, Robin, served as wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator at Arizona State from 1995-2000...was named 2010-11 Hard Hat Program Champion in the spring of 2011...participated in 2012 Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game...graduated in spring of 2011 with a B.A. degree in Marketing.
2011: Started all 13 games at wide receiver...finished the season with 44 catches for 665 yards and five touchdowns...against Missouri on Sept. 9, tied a career-high with eight catches and set a career-high with 180 yards, his first career 100-yard game, and added a career-long 60-yard touchdown reception and a 35-yard touchdown reception...collected a pair of touchdown catches vs. UC Davis on Sept. 1, including a 31-yarder and a 13-yarder, on three catches for 50 yards...made seven catches for 75 yards at Illinois on Sept. 17...had four catches for 53 yards at Washington St. on Nov. 12...ended his ASU career with four catches for 45 yards in the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas...earned Second Team Academic All-Pac-12 honors...also received CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District VIII honors...semifinalist for the 2011 William V. Campbell Trophy, which recognizes the best scholar-athlete in the nation...named Rivals.com pac-12 Player of the Week for Nov. 11...named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List.
2010: Stepped in nicely as a solid position wideout...averaged over ten yards a catch for the season...finished in top five for number of catches....season high eight catches for 77 yards in win over Northern Arizona...four catches for 33 yards and two touchdowns vs. UCLA...had a rush in the third quarter for three yards, the first rush of his career, in the Territorial cup win vs. Arizona.
2009: Sat out the season after transferring from Oregon.
OREGON: Played two seasons at the University of Oregon (2007-2008)...had 17 receptions for 168 yards and a touchdown as a true freshman in 2007...also returned eight punts for 29 yards (3.6 avg.) and had a 22-yard kickoff return in 2007...finished with six catches 79 yards and three punt returns for 43 yards (14.3 avg.) in 2008.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Sheldon High School in Eugene, Ore...made the most of quick impressions in his lone season with the Irish and was tabbed as the best receiver in the state and among the top four overall prospects in Oregon by SuperPrep...earned first-team all-state honors as a receiver honorable mention as a defensive back from The Oregonian...also was included on SuperPrep's Northwest Hot 100 chart...pulled down 59 catches for 869 yards and nine touchdowns in 2006 after accumulating 38 receptions for 840 yards and 14 scores as a junior for Washington state champion Pullman High School (14-0)...Sheldon finished his senior year ranked fourth in Oregon with an 11-1 record after losing in the state semifinals to eventual 6A state champion Jesuit...also was Midwestern League 400-meter winner in 2007 and basketball team's defensive player of the year in 2006...coached by Marty Johnson at Sheldon High School.
PERSONAL: Graduate Degree-Liberal Studies...parents are Robin and Marlene Pflugrad...Robin is the head football coach at Montana...has one sister, Amanda who was a cheerleader at the University of Oregon... born on Sept. 24, 1988 in Missoula, Mont...full name is Aaron David Pflugrad.
