- Xavion Alford dubbed himself the @100YardLandlord across his social media platforms and has made sure to become eponymous with the title this season as ASU’s last line of defense in the secondary.
- Played the 10th-most snaps in coverage in the FBS (522) and allowed just 9 receptions, the 7th-fewest in the FBS despite posting 100 more coverage snaps than any of the six players ahead of him (min. 300 coverage snaps).
- Prior to the Bowl Season, opponents chose to throw his way on just 4.2 percent of coverage snaps, the 4th-lowest total among all FBS players. His 19 targets on the year are 14th-lowest in the FBS.
- He allowed just 90 yards in coverage prior to Bowl Season - 4th-lowest among all FBS players.
- He allowed just 0.20 yards per coverage snap prior to Bowl Season, the 2nd-lowest total in the FBS.
- Alford forced an incompletion 26.3 percent of the time when targeted, the 8th-best tally among all FBS players.

- Transferred to USC from Texas in the spring of 2021 and saw significant playing time at strong safety and on special teams as a redshirt freshman in 2021… Overall in 2021 while appearing in 11 games (all but California) and starting twice (UCLA and BYU), he made 31 tackles, a team-best 3 interceptions and 3 deflections and earned USC’s 2021 Co-Defensive Perimeter Player of the Year Award

- Helped Shadow Creek to a 15-1 overall record, a 7-0 district mark and title, and an appearance in the 5A Division 1 state title game in 2018 – the same season Shadow Creek debuted a varsity football squad
