- Three-year member of the varsity squad at Cathedral High School…the Phantoms went 18-5 over the past two seasons, making the CIF Southern Section Playoffs in both seasons.
- Compiled 123 total tackles, 34 tackles for loss, 15.5 sacks, seven passes defended, three forced fumbles, and one interception in 27 games during his high school career.
- Enjoyed a productive senior season in which he posted 58 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, 5.5 tackles for loss, 32 hurries, three passes defended, and a forced fumble.
- His recruiting picked up after an impactful junior season in which he finished with 44 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, five sacks, 18 hurries, and two fumble recoveries, one of which he returned for a touchdown.
