High School: A 2007 graduate of Dobson High School in Mesa, Ariz...lettered in football and track and field...was captain of his football team his senior year...his high school stats include the longest touchdown pass in school history for 75 yards...13 passes caught for 385 yards and four touchdowns...recorded 76 tackles on defense to lead the 5A East Valley division.
Junior College: Attended Weber State in Ogden, Utah for one semester before transferring to Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, Ariz. where he played linebacker.
