- One of the most prolific multi-sport athletes in the nation out of high school on both the gridiron and the hardcourt, earning three-star accolades as a running back from all major recruiting outlets
- Won a state championship in each of his four years at the prep level, doing so at the six-man level at Strawn and Benjamin before seamlessly transitioning to 11-man as a senior and leading Columbus to its first state championship in program history, taking the Division I Class 3A crown in 2024
- Rushed for 2,071 yards and 39 touchdowns as a senior at Columbus in 2024 and earned MVP honors in the championship game following his four-touchdown effort
- Amassed a perfect 45-0 record in two seasons of six-man football at Benjamin as a sophomore and junior, recording 85 rushing touchdowns and 23 receiving touchdowns and tacking on 31 passing touchdowns just for good measure
- Set a Texas state record with a combined 17 touchdowns in state championship games
- As if his gridiron efforts weren't enough, Rigdon led the entire nation in scoring as a junior at Benjamin with 45.1 points per game as a junior and still finished 15th in the nation in scoring as a senior playing at a high division, averaging 35.1 points per game
