- B.J. Green was fourth among FBS interior linemen with 11 QB hits in 2022
- His 37 total quarterback pressures were 10th among FBS interior linemen, however, he did so on significantly fewer snaps
- Green's 20.0 win percentage on pass rushing plays was second in the FBS among interior linemen and 15th among all defensive linemen, period
- Green generated a QB pressure on 22.4 percent of his pass-rushing snaps - the-third best tally of any defensive lineman in the FBS (min. 150 pass rush snaps) and four percentage points better than any other FBS interior lineman
- Green had a pass rush productive rating ((sacks + (.5 x hits) + (.5 x hurries)/play count) of 12.4 last season, tops among all FBS interior lineman and eighth among all defensive linemen
- Finished the season with 13 tackles as a pass-rush specials - 4.5 for loss and 2.5 coming as sacks
- Walk-on defensive lineman that earned a scholarship after an explosive freshman campaign, emerging as one of the team's leading pass rushers
- Finished with eight total tackles, five of which were sacks - leading the team in the category despite his limited playing time and becoming just the fourth true freshman in program history to lead the team in sacks
- Was the team's highest graded pass rusher, earning a score of 75.7 on pass rush snaps
- Played 117 snaps on the year, of which 104 were as a pass rusher
- Created a QB pressure (19 total) on 18.3 percent of his pass rush snap on the year, which was tops among any defensive lineman in the Pac-12 last year with at least 100 pass rushing snaps, ranking ahead of NFL first round draft pick Kayvon Thibodeaux (17.6)
- It was the 31st-highest percentage of any player in the FBS and second among all interior defensive linemen behind only Ohio State's Tyleik Williams (18.4 percent)
- His pass rush productivity rating (a formula accounting for sacks/hits/pressures divided by play count) was 11.5 - the highest of any player in the Pac-12 with 100+ pass-rush snaps
- This mark was good for 22nd in the nation and second of all interior linemen (again behind only Williams - 11.8)
- Green "won" 22.1 percent of his pass rushing snaps on the year (a formula using pressures and defeated defenders, subtracting unblocked pressures and divided by pass rushing snaps), a total good for 32nd in the FBS among all players with at least 100 pass rushing stats and second among all interior lineman (Florida State's Dennis Briggs. Jr. - 24.8)
- Rivals rated him as a three-star prospect and the No. 84 overall prospect in Georgia
- Three-star prospect according to 247 Sports, who tabbed him as a Top-200 prospect in the state
- Transferred to Prince Avenue prior to his senior season, leading the Wolverines to their first-ever State Championship
- 2020 Georgia Public Broadcasting All-State Honorable Mention selection
- Enjoyed an extremely productive senior season, despite missing the first three games
- Finished with 73 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks during a dominant final campaign
- Has the ability to change games with his pass-rushing, forcing two fumbles and recovering one
