- His successful sophomore season ran deep into the summer where he won the Irish Junior title in the 1,500 meters
- Took third in the Irish 1,500-meter final at the senior level
- Advanced to the NCAA West Prelims where he finished 26th overall in the 5,000
- Scored a seventh-place finish in the 5,000 at the Pac-12 Championships
- Ran himself into the record books in two events including the 5,000 and 1,500
- Took third in the MPSF 5,000-meter final to give the Devils six points
- Won the 5,000 at the Iowa State Classic in 13:52.26 to move to fourth in school history in the event
- Finished in the top-three in each of his outings in the 5,000
Prior to ASU: Took all-conference honors at the Big South Cross Country Championships for Charleston Southern... Finished third in the indoor 3,000 at the Big South Championships and third in the 1,500 outdoors... Represented Ireland at the 2017 European Cross Country Championships where he finished 22nd... Won the Irish Schools Cross Country title twice while at Midleton CBS.
Personal: Fearghal Curtin was born on July 14, 1998 to Geraldine and Noel Curtin... He has one sister names Trisha... Fearghal will receive a degree in English from Arizona State University.
