Arizona State 2013:
- Competed at the Pac-12 Championships in the 8k (29:46).
- Recorded a personal best time of 26:05.8 at the Griak Invitational.
Paradise Valley CC:
- Was a member of the 2011 NJCAA Men's Cross Country Championship team in 2011 where he earned individual All-America honors as well.
- Was a 2011 indoor All-American in the mile as well.
- Earned All-NJCAA All-America honors outdoors in 2012 in the 1,500 and 5,000-meter runs and was a 2013 NJCAA All-American at 10,000 meters.
High School:
- Earned four letters in cross country and three in track and field at Cibola High School in Yuma, Ariz., where he was teammates with incoming freshman Bernie Montoya.
- Earned All-State cross country honors in 2010 and was the Arizona high school runner up at 3,200 meters that season as well.
Personal: Born June 5, 1992 to Kris and Julie Norton in Phoenix, Ariz... Grew up in Yuma, Ariz... Has one sister, Shanna... Father, Kris, competed in cross country and track and field at Pima Community College and at the University of Arizona in Tucson... Is in the Arizona State Air Force ROTC program and hopes to pursue a career as an officer in the Air Force... Currently studying aerospace engineering...
