Before ASU (San Diego Mesa College)
- Jazzlyn Islas competed at San Diego Mesa College, earning runner-up honors in the 800 meters at the 2025 3C2A State Championships with a time of 2:18.99 after placing third at the Southern California Championships and second at the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Championships.
- She continued to lower her marks during her sophomore season, recording personal bests of 2:16.36 in the 800 and 4:36.89 in the 1,500. Islas also competed in cross country for the Olympians, posting collegiate bests of 18:20.8 in the 5K and 21:42.2 in the 6K, while earning an individual victory at the 2025 Manny Bautista College Open.
