High School (Camp Verde)
- Hurtado attended Campo Verde High School in Gilbert, Arizona, where she cemented herself as one of the state’s top middle-distance runners. Hurtado captured the 2024 AIA Open State Championship in the 800m, running 2:11.62, before winning the 2025 AIA Division II 800-meter state championship and helping Campo Verde claim the Division II 4x800 relay title.
- As a senior, she lowered her 800m personal best to 2:09.03 at the Mt. SAC Relays, the second-fastest mark among Arizona’s Class of 2026, and posted a 5:02.35 best in the 1,600. She also finished runner-up in the 800 at the 2026 AIA Open State Championships and placed seventh at the 2025 AIA Division II Cross Country State Championships, capping a prep career that featured success across both middle-distance and cross country.
