In 2019, Priscilla Tallman helped ASU earned a 21-14 record, tallying the most wins in program history. The victory total beat out the previous high of 16, reached in 2017. The season culminated with Arizona State’s best outing at the Pac-12 Championship, winning two matches for the first time. ASU beat three top-20 teams during the season: No. 16 Grand Canyon, No. 10 Cal and No. 20 Stanford. Additionally, the Sun Devils did not lose a single match to an unranked team in 2019.

Tallman joined the Sand Devils in 2018 to help the team. Tallman came to ASU from Millenium High School in Goodyear, Arizona, where she coached the beach team from 2015-17, leading the squad to two straight second-place finishes in the 6A Arizona State Championship. She also had two teams represented in the top ten of the state pairs tournament. 

Before moving to Arizona, Tallman spent some time coaching in California. She was a volunteer assistant at Long Beach State for the indoor team in 1997. She then coached for Orange County Volleyball Club in Newport Beach, California from 1998-99.

Before transitioning into coaching, Tallman played indoor volleyball professionally. In 1994, she was an extended team member for the U.S. National Team, making the trip to China and Japan. The next year in 1995, she competed with Team USA in the World University Games in Fukuoka, Japan. She also made a living playing volleyball, competing professionally for Geneve Elite in Geneva, Switzerland in 1996.

Tallman has been playing volleyball for most of her life. She played indoor at the college level, playing at the University of Georgia from 1991-95. During her time as a Bulldog, she was a First Team All-American in both 1993 and 1994, leaving her mark by leading the NCAA in total kills in those seasons. She also set the NCAA record in 1994 for kills in a match with 53 kills vs. Kentucky. In 1994, she was the SEC Player of the Year. She was also the SEC Freshman of the Year in 1991. From 1991-94, she was a All-SEC First Team player. In 2006, she was inducted into the University of Georgia Circle of Honor.

Tallman earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Georgia in 1995 and a master's degree in clinical psychology from Vanguard University in 2006. The Austin, Texas native has two children, Joaquin and Lyncoln, with her husband Rich Tallman. Rich played volleyball at Long Beach State and was part of the 1991 national championship team.
