2013 (Freshman):
- Redshirted during her freshman season.
High School:
- A left-handed outside hitter, carried a 4.0 grade point average and was valedictorian at Flathead High School.
- Amassed 350 kills as a senior with 234 digs and 87 blocks.
- A First-Team All-State hitter as a junior and senior, Johnson helped lead her team to the Class AA Montana State Tournament each of her four years.
- As a senior, she yielded Western AA All-Conference First Team honors.
- Was a four-time All-State track standout that was a back-to-back state triple jump champion as a junior and senior and broke the state record in the triple jump.
Personal:
Earned her bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in media analysis. Is currently pursuing a master's degree in sports law and business. Kwyn is the daughter of Tryg and Lynette Johnson. She has three sisters, Ariel, Danika and Tiana. Her father played basketball at Montana State, sister Ariel played volleyball at Montana Western and Danika will be playing basketball at Hawai’i Pacific. Earned the ASU Provosts Award upon coming to ASU. Kwyn is also an avid fly fisherman.
