Senior (2020):
- Thrust into starting role behind the dish due to injury to Sam Ferri, providing valuable veteran leadership to a staff that saw eight pitchers making their Sun Devil debuts
- Posted a .255 average and starting in 17 games for the Devils
- Record four multi-hit efforts on the season
- Gunned down three runners trying to steal a base and recording a .986 fielding percentage
Junior (2019):
- Added depth to the Sun Devil roster and was a pivotal member of the team with his work in the bullpen in games
- Recorded three hits in nine at-bats
- Saw action at catcher in three games
Sophomore (2018) - Central Arizona College:
- Saw extended action at catcher during his sophomore season at Central Arizona College and appeared in 38 games total for the Vaqueros - catching in 34 of those
- Was named to the 2018 All-ACCAC Region 1 Team
- Logged a .319 average on the season with four homers, five doubles and 18 RBIs
- Threw out 11 runners attempting to steal a base on 26 attempts (.423)
Freshman (2017):
- Recorded a .286 average with two RBIs in a depth role during his freshman campaign, logging two starts as the DH
- Launched a mammoth home run on the road at Utah in the final weekend of the season - the first of his college career
High School:
- Participated in the A member of the Perfect Game World Series Championship team in both 2013 and 2014.
- 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American; 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game Texas-All Region 2nd Team
- 2016 District 8-5A Defensive MVP; 2015 District 8-5A 2nd All District
- 2015 Perfect Game 3rd Team All-American
- 2014 Perfect Game High Honorable Mention All-American
- In his Junior season, Cheema led his team to a Texas 5A State Baseball Championship in 2014
- Captain of his baseball team his senior season and a member of the National Honor Society.
