- Enjoying an extremely successful varsity career and had an elite senior campaign in which he went 3-0 with a paltry 0.47 ERA, allowing just three earned runs on the year
- Named the MaxPrep's California Small Schools All-State team
- Struck out 73 to just 19 walks in 44.1 innings pitches as a senior and recorded 176 strikeouts in his career - 145 of those coming between his junior and senior seasons
- Became a go-to-guy on the mound during his junior season, making a career-high 12 appearances and recording a 2.17 ERA in 38.2 innings pitched. Struck out 72 of the 165 batters he faced
- Opponents bat just .128 against him during his varsity career, including a miniscule .094 batting average against as a senior.
- An exceptional two-way player, Tomczak bat over .300 in each of his four varsity seasons - recording a career .363 average with 72 RBIs, 24 doubles, 8 homers and 80 runs scored while reaching base at a .487 clip.
- Led his Argonaut squad to the No. 1 seed and a third-place finish in the 2019 CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division V tournament
- Led his team to the 2018 CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division V semifinals; 2018 Cal-Hi Sports All-State Baseball Small Schools First Team Multi-Purpose Player; 2017 All-Mother Lode League First Team honoree; 2016 All-Mother Lode League Second Team selection
- Key member of the 2018 Argonaut HS Basketball Team that went 29-6 and made the 2018 Division V CIF State Boys Basketball Championship
- His brother, Miles, just finished his first season as a member of the Fresno State Baseball program.
