JUNIOR (2020):
- Hunter Jump was been among the hottest hitters in the Sun Devil lineup and finished the shortened season with an eight-game hitting streak
- In the final two weeks of action, Jump went 14-of-31 with a .452 average and was second on the team with 12 RBIs in the last 8 games. He slugged .742 in that time with a team-best six doubles
- He led the Pac-12 and was 27th nationally with 7 total doubles on the season
- Jump was responsible for the game-winning RBIs in the sixth inning or later in both of ASU’s first two games of the series sweep of Fresno State.
- Finished the season with a .317 average, slugging .524 with two homers and seven doubles with 15 RBIs
- One of the offensive standouts for a Central Arizona squad that went on to win the 2019 NJCAA Division I World Series Championship in 2019 and was named the Preston Walker Junior College World Series MVP in the process
- Went 12-for-22 (.545) in the World Series with nine RBIs
- Went 1-for-3 in the Championship Game with a three-run homer that helped kick off 12 unanswered runs for Central Arizona to overcome a 7-0 deficit after the top half of the first inning en route to the title
- Led CAC with a .333 average on the season, recording 31 RBIs and a .415 on-base percentage
- Logged 17 doubles and four homers while recording 15 stolen bases on 18 attempts
- Came on strong as the season progressed, earning more and more playing time as a result
- Played in 36 games during his first season as a Sun Devil, starting in 21 of those
- Enjoyed a breakout freshman season, hitting a team-high .370 (37-for-100) with one home run and 22 RBIs
- Put up incredible numbers over his final 18 games of the season, going 30-for-73 (.410) with 19 RBIs
- Totaled at least three hits and two RBIs in three straight games (4/21-4/25). Had three hits in four of five games spanning from 4/21-4/28
- Was outstanding in a victory the 13-8 win over Utah (4/22), going 3-for-4 with a triple and four runs batted in
- Put together a terrific performance at San Diego (5/9), going 1-for-2 drawing three walks and tallying four RBIs
- Drew nine walks, helping him record a .418 OBP
- Reached base in 13 of the final 14 games
- Registered ten multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games
- Ranked the No. 210 overall player in California and No. 12 infielder in the state and the No. 82 infielder in the country by Perfect Game
- Earned various honors including being named a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention selection and a California Region Honorable Mention selection
- Capped his high school career batting .314 with 24 doubles and two home runs in three seasons on Aliso Niguel’s varsity squad
- Participated in a variety of showcases, including the 2015 National Underclass West Showcase and the 2015 PG/Evoshield National Championship (Underclass)
