Sophomore (2018):
- Made a team-best 25 appearances on the season
- Recorded a team-high five saves
- Improved his ERA almost a full point, finishing the season with a 4.41 ERA in 32.2 innings
- Struck out 35 batters while only walking 13
- Went 3+ innings on three different occasions, allowing no more than one run in any of the three extended outings
- Earned the win in the Sun Devils 15-7 victory over Utah (4/21), going 3.2 innings while allowing just one run while striking out three
- Started as the team's closer, but moved into the Sunday starter role after injuries hit the rotation
- Capped his freshman campaign with a 5.31 ERA in 20 appearances totaling 59.1 innings and placed second on the Devils in strikeouts with 49
- Came in with one out in the ninth and a 13-9 Devil lead against No. 1 TCU and recorded two straight outs to complete the upset (2/24)
- Pitched 3.1 innings of scoreless relief against Long Beach State to record his first career win, notching five strikeouts (3/10)
- Was instrumental in the Devils' blanking of USC, tossing 5.2 innings of scoreless baseball while striking out six to propel the team to a victory (3/24)
- A 2016 graduate of Centennial High School in Peoria, Ariz.
- Perfect Game rated him as the No. 1 LHP and No. 8 overall player in Arizona and the No. 62 overall LHP in the nation
