Junior College:
Arizona:
- Played one season of JUCO at Cypress College where he was named the Orange Empire Conference Co-Player of the Year.
- Hit a conference- best .370 with three homers and 27 RBIs.
- Batted .413 in conference play with 31 hits, 20 runs, and three home runs with 14 RBI.
Arizona:
- Played in eight games with six starts at designated hitter
- Went 0-for-2 after pinch hitting at Washington State (4/12)
- Started at designated hitter and went 0-for-4 with a sacrifice against California (4/5)
- Started all three games in sweep over Utah (3/28-30)
- Went 1-for-11 with three RBI, a stolen base and two sacrifices in series.
- First career hit came in second game of series
- Was hit by a pitch and went 0-for-3 in start against San Francisco (3/1)
- Hitless in two at-bats after pinch hitting against Utah Valley (2/27).
- Made collegiate debut with 0-for-2 night as starting designated hitter on 2/26.
High School:
- Selected by the Kansas City Royals with the 373rd overall pick in the 12th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
- Earned varsity letters under the guidance of coach Dean Welch at Ramona High School in Ramona, Calif.
- A four-year varsity starter as a middle infielder, including final three seasons at shortstop
- A second team All-State selection by Cal-Hi Sports as a senior and a first team All-CIF honoree
- Earned First Team All-North County and All-Palomar League honors
- Hit .398 and reached base at a .516 clip as a senior
- Scored 32 runs, drove in 28 runs and stole 15 bases
- Blasted 11 home runs and added five doubles
- Helped turn 22 double plays defensively
- Named All-North Country and All-Palomar League as a junior
- Hit .381 with 17 doubles and seven home runs
- Scored 32 runs and had 24 RBI as a junior
- School's Most Valuable Player Award winner and the Offensive Player of the Year as a junior
- Collected seven homers to go with a .396 batting average as a sophomore.
