2012 (Sophomore):Appeared in five games, making one start...went 0-2 and pitched nine innings on the year...made his first career start against Cal State Fullerton on March 28, giving up three runs on eight hits in 3.1 innings...also took the loss at New Mexico on April 9, where he gave up six runs, including three earned, on five hits in 2.2 innings...struck out a season-high two vs. Winthrop in one inning pitched March 3.
Junior College: Pitched at Mesa Community College in 2011...appeared in 12 games, going 6-2...threw 71.0 innings, striking out 46 batters and recording a 3.93 ERA...did not pitch in 2010.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Show Low High School...earned three letters in baseball and one in basketball...was the baseball team captain as a senior...went 18-4 and hit .440 as a senior...was a Second Team 3A All-State as a senior and a First Team All-Region choice...was an honorable mention All-Region choice as a sophomore...won the Wendy's High School Heisman Award for Show Low High School.
