
2012 (Sophomore): Was a First Team Pac-12 All-Conference selection and one of four sophomores named to the first team...earned Collegiate Baseball Louisville Slugger All-America Second Team honors...tied for first in Div. High School: A 2010 graduate of Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, California...earned three varsity letters in baseball...was team captain during his senior year...was a Second Team All-League pick as a junior and a First Team All-League pick his senior season...was a Second Team All-CIF as a senior and was a preseason Under Armour All-American...was twice named his Team MVP...had a 10-2 record and hit .432 as a senior.

Honoring his commitment in the summer of 2012, Williams made two appearances in the Cape League before heading off to Team USA. Williams wore #34 in honor of his teammate and roommate, Cory Hahn, who had plans to play in the Cape League before being injured at ASU. Williams' gesture made sure Hahn finally made it to the Cape.
