  • Allowed just two hits while striking out two in 2.2 innings of work against New Mexico (5/1)
  • Earned his first career win in a dominant complete game shutout against then-No. 15 California, allowing just three hits while striking out seven, setting career-highs in innings pitched and strikeouts (4/17)
  • Faced two batters and recorded two outs as he allowed no hits and struck out one in his first collegiate appearance at Oregon State (3/18)

Personal: Chose ASU because it is a baseball school...His brothers have had the biggest influence on his baseball career so far...The greatest obstacle he has overcome in life has been losing of his closest uncles recently...Goals for his baseball career include winning a national championship while at ASU and being on the cover of Sports Illustrated...Outside of baseball he plans on receiving a degree in criminal justice and hopes to be in the FBI...Had a brother that also attended Arizona State and his step brother played baseball for Western Oregon.
