REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2021)
- ASU’s go-to southpaw out of the pen, leading the team with 34 appearances in ASU’s 55 games – a total that was third in Division I last season
- Posted a 2-3 record and 4.74 ERA, striking out 43 over 43.2 innings of work while holding left-handed opponents to a .247 average
- Was elite to start the season, allowing just one earned run in his first seven outings
- Held the opposition without a run in six of his final eight games of the year, including two postseason outings
- Recorded a season-best three strikeouts in five games on the year
- Offered the Sun Devils a solid lefty option out of the bullpen, earning a win and striking out three in 2.0 innings of work in the shortened season
- Left-handed pitching prospect with a terrific upside thanks to his frame and his advanced three-pitch repertoire
- Made 44 appearances on the mound so far during his varsity career, posting a 17-3 record with a 1.28 career ERA...Fanned 264 batters in just 147.1 innings pitched
- Had an absurd stat line in his senior season, going 8-1 with a trifling 0.37 ERA in which he struck out 131 batters in only 56.2 innings pitches. He walked only 19 batters oin the year and allowed just three earned runs on the season -- all coming in the Colorado state playoffs against eventually state champion University. Prior to that game, Osman had an insane stretch of 51 innings over 10 games where he did not allow a single earned run
- Recorded four appearances as a senior where he did not allow a hit, including two complete-game no-hitters. Additionally, he got it done at the plate with his .413 average in 75 at-bats with 26 RBIs and 17 runs
- Proved he can pitch in any situation, serving mostly as a starter, but collecting four saves as a reliever during his career at the Colorado Academy
- Received honorable mention CHSAA Class 4A All-State honors presented by CHSAANow.com, ColoradoPreps.com and MaxPreps and helped lead his team to a 17-4 record and a trip to the Class 3A Region 6 Championship game
- Played both baseball and basketball at Colorado Academy, starting on varsity in both sports this past season.
- A Top-500 overall prospect and the No. 54 left-handed pitching prospect in the country according to Perfect Game; tabbed by Perfect Game as the top left-handed pitching prospect and the No. 4 overall prospect in the state of Colorado; listed as the No. 92 overall prospect in the coverage area and the No. 14 left-handed pitching prospect in the nation by Prep Baseball Report
- Member of the All-Tournament Team at the 2018 17U Perfect Game World Series; PBR's Top Colorado 2019 Left-Handed Pitcher Prospects
- Appeared on the roster for Colorado Rockies Futures Game...Earned a spot on the Top Prospects List and the Top Prospects Team after an impressive showing at the 2018 PG Rocky Mountain Showcase; also made the Top Prospects List and the Top Prospects Team at the 2017 National Underclass Showcase – Main Event; 2018 PG Preseason Underclass All-American High Honorable Mention
