- Bat .318 at Tyler College as a true freshman last season, recording 11 doubles and nine homers for a .574 slugging percentage with 31 RBIs.
- Was a true threat on the base path with 26 stolen bases while drawing 33 walks and absurd 22 HBPs to post a gaudy .498 OBP
- Two-way player that also saw four appearances on the mound
- Had a strong Summer Ball season in the Appalachian League with Danville where he appeared in 29 games and batted .333 with a .496 on-base percentage, .484 slugging percentage and .980 OPS... In 93 at-bats, he collected 31 hits, eight doubles and two home runs while scoring 33 runs and driving in 23
- He drew 25 walks, struck out only 14 times and stole three bases. Perkins ranked among the Appalachian League’s leaders in on-base percentage and OPS. His nearly 2-to-1 walk-to-strikeout ratio was one of the most notable portions of his summer
High School / Club
- A proven winner and team captain at Southlake Carroll where he led his team to 57 combined wins over his final two seasons and deep runs into the Texas 6A regional semifinals (2025) and finals (2024)
- The 2025 season saw just the sixth 30-win season in Southlake Carroll history
- Committed just four errors at shortstop his senior season, where he bat .368 with a .500 OBP with five doubles, a triple, two homers and 19 RBIs
- A triple-threat that was 6-for-6 in save opportunities with a 1.40 ERA, 0.70 WHIP and 17 strikeouts over 10 innings and also 10-for-11 on stolen base attempts
- Earned First Team All-District 4-6A honors following his senior season and was the District 4-6A Defensive Player of the Year as a junior
- Ranked the No. 391 player in the nation by Prep Baseball Report and Top-500 play by Perfect Game... PBR tabbed him as the No. 33 overall player in the state and the No. 14 right-handed pitcher in Texas...Conversely he was the No. 63 player in the state by Pefect Game, but the seventh-ranked shortstop
- Saw a career .317 average with a .470 OBP over his club ball career while being named to numerous Team Preseason All-Region lists... Recorded 10 All-Tournament team nods and was named to the 2023 National Underclass West Showcase Top Prospect Team
