Freshman (2017):
- Earned valuable experience taking the mound for the Sun Devils as one of only three freshman pitchers to see action
- Appeared out of the bullpen four times during his first season in Tempe
- Put together a 1-2-3, nine-pitch inning against USC (4/8)
- Recorded his second scoreless inning of relief on the season against Washington (5/5)
- Made his collegiate debut, pitching an inning against UNC Wilmington (3/18)
- Was drafted in the 23rd round by the New York Yankees in 2017, but instead elected to attend Arizona State
- Rated the No. 11 right-handed pitcher and No. 33 overall player in the state of Arizona and drew top-500 ratings in the nation by Perfect Game
- Named a 2017 Rawlings-Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention and West All-Region Second Team
- Pitched for three seasons on Chaparral’s varsity squad, finishing his high school career with a 7-2 record and a 3.51 ERA in 25 appearances (17 starts)
