Freshman (2016):
- Appeared in 15 games, including one start, earning a 2-2 record
- Notched a 2.84 ERA, striking out ten while walking eight
- Earned his first career strikeout vs. Eastern Michigan where he worked one perfect inning (3/4)
- Made his fist collegiate appearance against Nevada and pitched two innings of scoreless relief and allowed just one hit (2/23)
- Worked a career-high 3.1 innings in his first career start against Washington, allowing just four hits while striking out three, also a career-high (4/10)
- Recorded his first career win in a three-inning relief appearance where he allowed just one run off two hits while striking out two against Oregon (5/7)
High School:
- Earned four letters in baseball and was the 2015 team captain
- Voted Pitcher of the year during his senior season at Horizon
Personal: Chose ASU because it is one of the best programs in the country and it would be a great place to improve his skills...outside of baseball he used to play roller hockey...the biggest influences on his baseball career so far have been all of his baseball coaches growing up...the greatest obstacle he has overcome has been getting surgery on his knee and coming back to play toward the end of the season...goals for his baseball career include becoming a starter and being a big part of the team while at ASU and professionally he hopes to get drafted...outside of baseball he plans on getting good grades and earning his degree, and professionally he would like to work in the business side of sports...both his father and mother attended Arizona State, and his sister is a current student…outside of baseball he was the president of the local chapter of DECA, which prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
