Sophomore (2016):

  • Pac-12 All-Conference, Honorable Mention
  • Appeared in 57 games, including 55 in outfield and one at DH
  • Recorded a .321 average with 18 extra-base hits, 27 RBI and 29 runs scored
  • Placed 2nd on the team in batting average, hits and triples and 3rd in runs scored
  • His 68 hits were tied for 9th in the Pac-12
  • Earned Fort Worth All-Region honors as he went 4-for-16 (.250) in the regional with a double and two runs scored (6/3 – 6/5)
  • Contributed two hits while knocking in three runs in an eventual 12-4 route of UCLA (5/20)
  • Went 11-22 (.500) in a six game stretch spanning two weekd, knocking in six RBI with two doubles (5/8 - 5/20)
  • Laced a walk-off single to right field to plate the lone of the game, finishing the night 2-for-4 and securing a series sweep of New Mexico (5/1)
  • Recorded three hits in as many at bats against New Mexico with an RBI and run scored (4/30)
  • Hit his first career home run at Stanford, a solo shot to push the Devils to an eventual 9-6 rout of the Cardinal (4/23)
  • Set a career-high with three RBI at Washington State (4/2)
  • Went 1-for-4 with a double, scored two runs, stole home and made a diving catch in the outfield against Washington State (3/31)
  • Contributed to a two-out rally with a single to push the Devils to a 3-2 win and a three-game series sweep over UC Davis (3/13)
  • Started at DH for the first time in his career against Nevada (2/23)
  • Went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, including his first career triple, against Xavier (2/20)
  • Had first career hit, extra base hit and multi-hit game on Opening Night against Xavier where he went 2-for-2 with a double and a RBI (2/19)


Freshman (2015):

  • Recorded 4.2 innings in seven appearances
  • Appeared in 25 games as a late-game defensive replacement in left field
  • Scored one run and collected a RBI sacrifice fly in six at-bats
  • Tallied a 3.86 ERA with a .063 opposing batting average, 11 strikeouts and just three walks
  • Struck out at least one batter in six of seven appearances
  • Appeared as a pinch runner in the ninth inning against Cal State Fullerton in the Fullerton Regional (5/30)
  • Drove in his first career run with a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning at Arizona (4/28)
  • Set career highs in innings pitched (1.1) and strikeouts (4) in a relief appearance vs NMSU (3/31)
  • Flied out in his first career at-bat in the eighth inning vs UNLV (3/11)
  • Scored his first career run vs Oregon State (3/15)
  • Struck out the side in his ASU debut against Purdue (2/27)
  • Threw a scoreless third inning with one strikeout vs the Arizona Diamondbacks (3/3).

Personal: Majoring in Public Service and Public Policy.. Says he chose ASU because of the tradition and the pride of Sun Devil Baseball... Says his father has had the biggest influence on his baseball career…His father played professional baseball in the Cleveland Indians organization… His mother played field hockey in college... His favorite Sun Devil of all time is Ryan Kellogg… Loves to slalom, water ski and fish… Wants to be a firefighter after his baseball career... Says his most exciting sports moment was when he hit a walk-off single against New Mexico in 2016 to cap off a career weekend and solidify a sweep of the Lobos...
