• Saw his season limited by injury, but finished his sophomore campaign with a 4.85 ERA in 13.0 innings while striking out seven
• Threw 2.2 innings of nearly perfect baseball on opening weekend against Northwestern, striking out two and keeping the Wildcats hitless (2/17)
• Gave up just one hit in two innings against Loyola Marymount, striking out two in the effort (3/5)

• Appeared in 12 games, including one start, throwing 17.1 innings while notching a 0-1 record
• Recorded a 9.35 ERA while striking out 10 and walking 15
• Pitched a scoreless inning of relief at Arizona while allowing just one hit (5/14)
• Limited Arizona to just two runs, both unearned, while striking out two, tying a career-high, in one inning of work (4/26)
• Pitched one inning against Utah, his first career Pac-12 appearance, and allowed two hits and struck out one (3/24)
• Tossed a career-long three innings at No. 3 Oregon State (3/19) and scattered five hits and two runs
• Allowed just one hit and struck out one in two scoreless innings of work at No. 23 Cal State Fullerton (3/9)
• Made his first career start against Nevada (2/23) and conceded six runs, including four earned, on six hits
• Made his first career appearance against Xavier and allowed just one hit and notched two strikeouts in one inning (2/20)

• Was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 32nd round (953rd overall) of the 2015 MLB Draft
• Earned five varsity letters while in high school, including three in football and two in baseball
• Captain of his football team in 2014 and 2015, and captain of his baseball team in 2015
• Baseball statistics: junior season (2014): 9-0 with a 0.69 ERA, 49 strikeouts in 39.2 innings; senior season (2015): 8-3 with a 1.22 ERA, 102 strikeouts in 60.1 innings
• High School Baseball Awards: 2015 (Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention, Perfect Game All-Midwest Region First Team, All-State Illinois HS Baseball Coaches Association, ranked 6th-best player in state by PBR, All Area First Team by Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times)

Personal: Chose ASU because of the rich history of winning baseball... Hopes to win a national championship at ASU and carry on the great tradition... Outside of baseball he enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, football and anything involving athletics... His older brothers have had the biggest influence on his baseball career so far as they have been great role models for him to look up to, and both have been to Omaha and know what it takes to get there... One of his greatest obstacles in life was when his grandfather passed way... Goals for his baseball career are winning a national championship while at ASU and playing Major League Baseball... Outside of baseball he plans on receiving his degree from ASU and professionally he would like to run his own company... His grandfather played basketball at the University of Michigan... His father was an All-American swimmer at Indiana University... His brothers, Walker and Sullivan, played baseball at Indiana University, played in multiple Big Ten Championships and have been to Omaha...
