REDSHIRT SENIOR (2021):
- Was expected to fill the void at first base after Spencer Torkelson's No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 MLB Draft but unfortunately suffered a season-ending injury in the Fall. Was able to use his extra year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 regulations to return in 2022.
AT AUBURN:
SENIOR (2020):
- Played and started in all 18 games at first base
- Hit .339 (20-for-59) with 17 runs, six doubles and 14 RBI
- Led the team with three home runs
- Also led the way with 13 walks and tied for the team lead with four sac flies
- Didn’t commit and error in 132 chances in the field and helped turn 11 double plays.
JUNIOR (2019):
- Played in 63 games and earned 62 starts, primarily as the designated hitter
- Led the team with a career-best .290 batting average, 73 hits and 113 total bases
- Aalso turned in career highs in runs (35), doubles (14), home runs (eight), RBI (36) and slugging percentage (.448)
- Tied for the team lead with 22 multi-hit games, including five three-hit contests
- Played and started in all 30 SEC games and hit .278 in league action
- Became the first Auburn player to record two doubles and three XBH in a College World Series game and was also just the second player to ever record three XBH in a College World Series game at TD Ameritrade Park
SOPHOMORE (2019):
- Played in 53 games and earned 47 starts, primarily in left field
- Finished the season with a .268/.371/.360 slash line
- Registered career bests in runs (26), home runs (two), RBI (34) and walks (25)
FRESHMAN (2017):
- Appeared in 52 games and earned starts at first base and DH in 38 contests
- Ranked 3rd on the team with a .282 average and reached base at a .359 clip
- Drove in 15 of his 29 runs in SEC play
HIGH SCHOOL
- Played at Blessed Trinity Catholic in Roswell, Ga. for coach Andy Harlin
- Helped team to back-to-back state titles in 2014 and 2015
- Class 3A first team all-state as a senior … three-time All-State honoree
- Hit .442 as a senior with seven home runs and 34 RBI … Also added 11 doubles
- During his junior season, batted .447 with eight homers and 32 RBI
- Sophomore year belted six homers with 13 doubles and 29 RBI and a .374 average
- Ranked No. 308 nationally and No. 16 first baseman overall … No. 37 player in Georgia according to Perfect Game … No. 4 first baseman in the state
- 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game honorable mention All-American … Southeast All-Region selection … two-time Underclass honorable mention … Perfect Game’s No. 219 incoming freshman nationally
- Also played quarterback in high school … Passed for 1,535 yards and 15 touchdowns as senior … Threw 20 touchdowns as a junior .. Owns five school records … three-year All-State football player
