Biography

Sophomore (2018):
  • Made a team-best 25 appearances on the season
  • Recorded a team-high five saves
  • Improved his ERA almost a full point, finishing the season with a 4.41 ERA in 32.2 innings
  • Struck out 35 batters while only walking 13
  • Went 3+ innings on three different occasions, allowing no more than one run in any of the three extended outings
  • Earned the win in the Sun Devils 15-7 victory over Utah (4/21), going 3.2 innings while allowing just one run while striking out three
Freshman (2017):
  • Started as the team's closer, but moved into the Sunday starter role after injuries hit the rotation

  • Pitched 3.1 innings of scoreless relief against Long Beach State to record his first career win, notching five strikeouts (3/10)
  • Was instrumental in the Devils' blanking of USC, tossing 5.2 innings of scoreless baseball while striking out six to propel the team to a victory (3/24)
